First it made me old fat woman angry, then it made me decide to be kinder to myself as an on-and-off fat person. I fear that most of the stellar reviews are from skinny people who deep down loved pitying [and feeling superior to] the little fat girl who hates herself. And I did feel sorry for this woman as a child. Her mother and grandmother were truly from hell. I believe that most of her problems are not about being fat, but about being physically and verbally and sexually abused. |
